key skills:

These can be broadly divided into three categories, as follows:

  • Digital audio and video - combining skills and experience from both computing and recording
  • Internet – web sitebuilding design, development, construction and maintenance
  • Graphics, multimedia programming and technical problem-solving

I continue to build on the wide range of skills I gained in my Degree and in the time both before and since. I have worked extensively in the creative as well as the technical fields, and feel equally comfortable in both. I am a motivated self-starter, and acquire new concepts fast.

I have a strong eye for detail and accuracy, and appreciate the importance of cohesive group work, especially in the light of the success of my study team at University, and in every project since.

I am currently honing my DVD authoring techniques, and I seek fresh challenges in a stimulating and dynamic, creative new media work environment.

other interests:

Away from work, music plays a big part in my life, and I compose and record my own material at home on my collection of ancient analogue synthesizers and digital recording studio.

I am always eager and willing to assist and impart my computer knowledge and experience with others, both in paid employment, and on an informal, voluntary basis. I am particularly interested in audio and sound, and their use in a variety of multimedia and standalone contexts. Additionally, I strive to find ways to develop my ideas collaboratively with other digital artists and musicians.
